Congregation Interfaith Holding Hands of Texas is a vibrant and diverse Orthodox Synagogue with growing locations throughout Texas. We are part of Congregation Interfaith Holding Hands World Ministry.

We planted our roots in the community more than 50 years ago beginning with only a few families who shared a common vision of establishing a Synagogue where all people can feel comfortable and continue to preserve their traditions. Initially meeting in people’s homes for daily Services, a semi-permanent headquarters was set up in the Fondren area of Southwest Houston and the Galleria area of Dallas. The congregations quickly grew to include first and second generation Americans, and immigrants from all over the world. Within the last few years our congregation’s founding families made generous donations in order to purchase land and erect its first permanent building.

Congregation Interfaith Holding Hands of Texas members come from a variety of backgrounds as well as levels of observance. We offer morning and evening services on weekdays and Shabbat. There are many classes and learning opportunities, as well as many social events for both young professionals and adults. Our fun and entertaining Youth Director, leads multiple activities for children of various ages each Shabbat morning and afternoon and trips throughout the year.
